Avon & Somerset Police Choir
Saturday, 1st November, Avon & Somerset Police Choir entertained an audience close to 200, at the United Reform Church, The Cabstand, Portishead.
This long awaited event, organised by Portishead Rotary, was another huge success and followed only a few weeks after the Queen Tribute Band, Rock evening.
Despite a cold and wet evening, the venue provided perfect accoustics for the talents of the choir and their soloist.
A glass of wine, or fruit juice for those driving, provided a welcome refreshment during the interval.
The evening raised a magnificent £1080 for charity, which included £76 from the monies collected on the door after the event.
